Elder Conley Daniels 83, of Cleveland unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord from Fairview General Hospital on Wednesday September 2, 2015. He was born October 21, 1931 in Hazard, KY. Survivors include his loving wife of sixty six years; Loraine (nee: Hall), three daughters; Wanda Long (Larry) of Grafton, OH., Vicki Bullock (Ron) of Cleveland, OH., Lynn Ceasar (David) of Highland Hts., OH. Loving grandfather of five, great grandfather of eight, and special friend of John the Fireman. Elder Conley was an ordained minister; and was a faithful member of The Pleasant View Old Regular Baptist Church in Litchfield, OH. Following his retirement from General Motors in Parma, OH. Conley kept busy tinkering with small engines, and repairing friends lawn mowers in his backyard with the help of his son in law. While doing those repairs he and his friends spent many hours under his apple tree just talking, but at 12:30 Loraine would have his lunch ready, then he'd watch Young and the Restless, and take a nap afterward. He was known by his grandchildren and great grandchildren as "Poppy" whom he loved dearly. He would attend their soccer games, baseball games, and parades to watch one of them play his trumpet in the marching band, they all loved their "Poppy" dearly. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Monday September 7, 2015 at Pleasant View Old Regular Baptist Church 3589 Beat Rd. Litchfield, OH 44253 where funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday September 8, 2015. (PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH) Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park, OH.
