Elaine M. Petty (nee: Black) 84, of Grafton passed away Sunday April 28, 2013 at New Life Hospice of St. Joseph in Lorain following a short illness. She was born May 13, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio. Elaine was a registered pharmacist, she established the pharmacy at Elyria Memorial Hospital, and had also worked at Allen Memorial Hospital in Oberlin. She was an avid bridge player, a talented seamstress. Elaine also enjoyed time at the family cottage on Lake Erie. Survivors include her husband of sixty one years; LLoyd H. who she married September 1, 1951. Additional survivors include three sons; Roger (Gail) of Carlsbad, CA., James (Cheryl) of Columbia Station, Keith (Kelly) of Grafton, three grandchildren Julie, Scott and Mikel Petty. She was preceded in death by her parents; Robert E. and Marie (nee: Schultz) Black, and a sister; Phyllis Larsen. Burial will be private at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
