Eileen M. Rotuno, (nee-Butsko), 87, of Grafton passed away Tuesday December 23, 2014 at Keystone Pointe in Grafton following a brief illness. She was born July 21, 1927 in Lowellville, OH. And was a Elyria area resident for most of her life. She and her late husband were co-owners of a Convenient Food Mart for many years. Eileen was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Elyria and enjoyed gardening and playing bingo. Survivors include her daughters, Laura (John) Miles of Elyria, Kathy Rotuno of Vermilion and Denise (Bob) Combs of Medina; sons, Joseph (Donna) Rotuno of Grafton and Lawrence (Annette) Rotuno of Elyria; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence "Larry" Rotuno in 1981, 8 sisters and 1 brother. The family will receive friends on Saturday December 27, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. The Rev. Fr. Frank P. Kosem will Officiate. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Grafton.
