Edwin T. Moss 82, of Elyria passed away Saturday January 3, 2015 at UH Elyria Medical Center following a short illness. He was born November 22, 1932 in Elyria. Edwin served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a retired supervisor from Columbia Gas Co. Edwin was a member of The Korean War Veterans, American Legion Post #12, Amvets Post #32, Elyria Moose Lodge, and Golden Moose. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, bowling, hunting, camping and travel. Survivors include his wife of fifty four years; Betty W. (nee: Walko), two daughters; Marsha A. Daugherty (Charles) of Amherst, Jane M. Kemer of Elyria, additional survivors include four grandchildren; Matthew, Joshua, Nicole, and Ryan. Edwin was preceded in death by his parents; Neil and Lucille (nee: Spicer) Moss, two sisters; Mary E. "Betty" Rundle, Margaret McPhie, and two brothers Neil and Robert Moss. The family will receive friends 4-7 PM Tuesday January 6, 2015 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
