Edward J. Meosky 87 of Elyria Township passed away Thursday August 4, 2016 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born February 3, 1929 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania .Edward served his Country in the Army. He enjoyed Woodworking. Survivors include his 2 sons Edward (Elaine) of Elyria and Gary (Lisa) of Hickory, North Carolina , 6 grandchildren Jennifer , Sarah , Zack , Caitlyn , Joe , and Courtney, 7 great-grandchildren , sister Feni and Birdie both of Pennsylvania , brother Pete of New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his wife Sara Jane "Sally" Meosky (nee Moore) in 2014 , son Mark and parents Andrew and Elizabeth (nee Ference).Graveside services will be held 11 AM Friday August 12, 2016 at Ridgehill Memorial Park 44805 N. Ridge Rd. Amherst Township 44001, where full military honors will be provided by VFW post # 1079. Pastor Bob Wickens of the Church of the Open Door will officiate.
