Edward John Kwasny, 89, of Westlake, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife Lillian and loving family at the Concord Reserve Lutheran Home on Monday April 26, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Caroline Kwasny of Coal Center, PA. along with 8 brothers and sisters. (Helen, Andrew, Leo, Pauline, Walter, John, Margaret, Ann). He is survived by his wife Lillian: sons, Edward (Joyce) Kwasny and Barry (Donna) Kwasny; daughter, Susan (Terrance) Kettel; grandchildren, Alan, Daniel, Nicholas, Madelyn, Edward and Jacqueline; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Lillian, Zoey and Ella; sister, Henrietta; brothers, Joseph, Carl and Stanley. Ed was a gentle, loving husband and father. He was a kind man with a gift of gab and a sense of humor to go with it. He has touched many lives with his kindness and generosity. He will be truly missed by many. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held for close friends and family on Saturday May 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Advent Episcopal Church 3760 Dover Center Rd., Westlake, OH. 44145. Friends and family who want to come are welcome to attend, but due to Covid-19, we are asking that people wear a mask in the hall and maintain social distancing. Please avoid attending if you feel ill or have been exposed to someone that has been ill.
