Even as a young child, Ed was an avid reader and he especially liked science fiction novels. His love of reading continued throughout his life. He liked hiking in Cascade Park and following the Cleveland sports teams, especially the Browns. Ed found great joy spending time with family and being entertained by his great nieces and nephews. He was a life-long member of St. Mary Catholic Church. For 29 years Ed worked for Heinen's Grocery Store, predominantly in Middleburg Heights. He thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in his beloved Elyria home during retirement.
