Edward G. Doehne, 88, of Elyria passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at his home. He was born June 20, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA. and was a lifelong resident of Elyria. Edward worked for Ohio Bell as a special repairman for 30 years. He proudly served his Country in the United States Navy during Korea. Edward was an active member of St. Mary Church for 60 Years, and a long time volunteer at the Cleveland Clinic. Survivors include his sons, Matthew , John (Donna Knight),Thomas (Michelle), and Edward (Tara); 9 grandchildren; sister, Rita Knight. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce (nee Becker); parents John and Marie Doehne (nee Montsch). Family will receive friends 4-6 PM Sunday,.
