Edna L. Horton (nee Morris), 97, of Elyria passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at her home with family by her side following a brief illness. She was born June 1, 1925 in Old Washington, Ohio. Edna was a loving, caring women who loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a self-employed beautician. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Weber and Karen (Larry) Schuster; grandchildren, Michelle (Greg) Tochtrop, Jennifer Weber, Alison (Matt) Nowak, Zachary Schuster; great-grandchildren, Ellie Tochtrop, Lilly Tochtrop, Abby Tochtrop and Noah Nowak. She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde in 2021; parents Friend Richard and Mary Mae Morris (nee Cunningham); 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Family will receive friends from 12 PM until time of service at 1 PM Monday, September 26, 2022 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626.
