Edith Moore Robinson, 78, of Elyria passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center. She was born January 6, 1942 in New Castle, PA. Edith was a teacher for the N. Ridgeville school systems for 30 years. She received her master's degree from Slippery Rock University and was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma society. Edith enjoyed reading, collecting antiques, quilting, traveling and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Survivors include her sisters, Mary (James-Deceased) Dawson of Grafton, Sally Sewell of Elyria; brother, Robert (MaryJo) of New Castle, PA. Nieces Joy Dawson-Hune (Merle), Gayle Ropchock, Lynda (Jeff) Archer, Barbara (Chris) Blum, MaryBeth Robinson; nephews, John Dawson, Scott Robinson, Chip (Tammy) Sewell; several great nieces, nephews and close friends. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Martha and Marjorie. Graveside services will be held at Graceland Cemetery in New Castle, PA. In lieu of flowers family suggests those who wish may make donations to their local library.
