Eddie Lee Ratliff, 59, of Oberlin passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at Life Care Center of Elyria. He was born January 8, 1962 in Clarksdale, MS. Eddie loved all Cleveland sports, had a great love for family and his grandchildren meant the world to him. He was a former teamster local #507. Survivors include his wife of 35 years Jennifer (nee Drew); daughter, Valerie (Cedric) Ester, Nina Johnson and Anna Ratliff; sons, Brian Helke and D.J. Robinson; 14 grandchildren; parents John and Willie Mae Ratliff (nee Jenkins); step-mother Abbie Ratliff; sisters, Yvonne (Johnny) Moore, Barbara (John) Robinson, Emma Barnes, and Linda Faye (Jeff) Fisher; brothers, John Jr., Anthony and David) (Gwene). Family will receive friends from 11AM until time of service at 12:30 PM Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Church of the North Coast-Lorain 4125 N. Leavitt Rd. Lorain, Ohio 44053.
