Earl DeHaven Holloway Jr. 85, of Lorain passed away unexpectedly on Saturday April 17, 2021 at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. He was born June 22, 1935 in Lorain where he was a lifelong resident. Earl served with the United States Marine Corp. during the Korean War. He was the owner of Holloway Livery Service, and owned Lorain Ambulance Service. Earl worked at Lorain Creamery, Majoras Ambulance, Bob's Doughnuts. He enjoyed roller skating, motorcycles and boating. Survivors include his wife of thirty four years; Alice J. (nee: Chet) a daughter; Laura N. Holloway of Lorain, a son; Earl Monte Holloway (Barbara) of Lorain, additional survivors include several grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, four sisters; Doris of MI, Susan of MD, Patricia of Elyria, Betty Ann of NE, and two brothers; Leland of Lorain and Robert (Lily) of Lorain. Earl was preceded in death by a son; Robert Anthony Holloway, his parents; Earl D. Sr. and Lillian J. (nee: McCormick) Holloway, two sisters; Alice Mae, Earleen Durasin, a brother; Edward and an infant brother. Funeral services are private. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH where full military honors will be provided by The United States Marine Corp.
