Dwight K. "Ike" McCready, 78, of Elyria passed away Saturday April 12, 2014 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange following a long illness. He was born November 25, 1935 in Indianapolis, IN. and was a Elyria resident since 1998, coming from Mooresville, IN. Ike worked in the Meat Department at the Convenient Food Mart on Chestnut Ridge Rd. for four years. Survivors include his sons, Scott (Dawn) McCready of Grafton and Kevin McCready of Chicago; grandchildren, Kelly McCready and Alison (Andrew) Irish; great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Irish; former wife, Elizabeth; sister, Gwynedd (Robert) Rickard of Mooresville, IN. All Services will be held in Indiana. Memorial contributions can be made to any Heart Fund of the donor's choice.
