Douglas A. Gast, age 67, of Elyria, passed away on March 1, 2023 at his home. He was born on December 21, 1955 to parents Alvin and Romayne (nee: Rindahl) in Elyria. Douglas was a graduate from Elyria High School and worked as a mechanic. He enjoyed boating and skiing in his spare time. Survivors include his sisters, Bonita (Michael) Langham and Pamela Machovina; nieces, Candace Langham, Jessica (Tommy) Sanders, and Allison Machovina.
