Dorothy L. Judson, (nee-Wilson), 93, of Rockford IL. And formerly of Elyria passed away Thursday June 26, 2025 at St. Anthony Hospital in Rockford.

She was born May 2, 1933 in Cherry Tree, PA and was a long time Elyria resident.

Dorothy was a former member of the First United Methodist Church in Elyria, the Elyria Eagles Club and the Elyria United Polish Club where she worked the fish fries for many years.

Survivors include her daughter, Gloria Petty; sons, Charles R. "Bob" Judson and Steve Judson;

5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, James Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and brothers, Clifford Wilson and William "Rube" Getty.

The family will receive friends Thursday 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd (at State Rt. 57), Elyria.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday July 18, 2025 in the funeral home.

The Rev. Chuck Behrens will Officiate. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
