Dorothy E. Rowe (nee Bergman), 94, of Carlisle Twp. Passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at Ames family Hospice in Westlake following a brief illness. She was born June 26, 1923 in Mansfield,OH. where she graduated from Mansfield High School and went on to receive her Bachelor's degree from Miami of Ohio in college she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority and was recently honored for over 75 years, and she was also a member of the Oberlin Golf Club. Dorothy worked for the Midview schools as a secretary for many years.She enjoyed bowling, traveling, playing bridge and all animals. Dorothy was married to William Rowe for 53 years until his passing.Survivors include her daughter Barbara (Richard) Chernus of Rocky River; son William (Jean) of Virginia Beach, VA.; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; special friend to many. A gathering will be held at a later date. Burial private. In lieu of flowers family suggests those who wish may make donations in Dorothy's name to the Friendship APL 8303 Murray Ridge Rd.
