Dorothy J. Garrett, 85, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2022 at O'Neill HealthCare in North Ridgeville. She was born in Grafton on October 29, 1936 to Walter and Mary Pasadyn (nee: Musial). She married her sweetheart, Karis Garrett, in 1958. Dorothy worked as a deli meat packer at Giant Eagle from 1982-1993. She was also a Bar-Maid at the V.F.W. in Grafton for several years, where she retired in 2011. Being an avid bowler, she was director on the board and hall of fame member for E.W.B.A. She was a National 600 Club Member. Survivors include her husband Karis; sons, Gerald and Michael (Linda) Garrett; sisters, Eleanor Dennis and Helen Hughes; brother, Martin Pasadyn; grandchildren, Catherine (Brian) Cunningham, Michelle (Brad) Blank, Sarah-Rose (Kyle) Keating, and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister; Francis Felver, and daughter-in-law, Sue Garrett. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2022 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 708 Erie Street Grafton, OH 44044. Meet at church. The Rev. Fr.
