Dorothy I. "Dot" Marsico, (nee-Gagen), 84, of LaGrange passed away Saturday September 7, 2019. She was born November 12, 1934 in Elyria and was an Elyria resident for most of her life. Dot enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading, traveling and spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughters, Robin (Mike) Crocker, Ellen Meyer, Mary Anne (John) Thrasher and Susan (Brian) Laing; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Vivian Madlem and Beatrice Yost and a brother, James Gagen. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 2009, sons, Joseph Michael Marsico in 1959 and Michael James Marsico in 2005. Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday September 13, 2019 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria, where the family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services. The Rev. Fr. John P. Seabold, pastor of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church will Officiate. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
