Doris Helen Thome (nee Farrand), 95 of Elyria passed away Saturday March 25, 2017 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake following a brief illness. She was born January 11, 1922 in Elyria. Doris worked as an LPN for Jupiter Pavilion Nursing Home in Jupiter Florida and Avon Oaks in Avon. Survivors include her daughter Margaret Diamond of Elyria; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph; daughters Carol Houston , Mary Turay and Ann Gutowski; 9 brothers and sisters ; parents George and Mary Farrand (nee Nary).
