Doris E. Thoma, (nee-Kasper), 77, of Grafton passed away Friday February 6, 2015 at her home following a brief illness. She was born April 12, 1937 in Cleveland and was a Grafton resident for most of her life. Doris formerly worked at the Fox Veterinary Hospital and enjoyed gardening and working on the family farm. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Dion "Don"; daughter, Sherry (Jeff) Hopkins of Sullivan; son, Dale Thoma of Columbus; grandchildren, Andrew and Josh; great-grandchild, Colton. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bob Kasper. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be on Wednesday February 11, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria.
