Donna B. Taylor, (nee-Glessner), 97, of Elyria and formerly of LaGrange passed away Saturday November 10, 2018 at the Life Care Center of Elyria following a long illness. She was born January 17, 1921 in Sterling, OH. and was a LaGrange resident for most of her life. Donna worked as a machinist at LaGrange Screw Products for many years, was a W.W.II United States Navy veteran and a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of LaGrange where she was active with AWANA and the children's nursery. Survivors include her daughter, Carol (Jerry) Kuba; son, David (Sharon) Franzke; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Vira Loper. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Franzke, second husband, Charles Taylor, daughter, Sheila Lancaster on November 7, 2018, 2 sisters, and a brother, Edwin Glessner. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday November 15, 2018 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria, where friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the services. The Rev. Chuck Behrens will Officiate. Burial will be private.
