Donna F. Ramsey (nee Schneider), 77, of LaGrange passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022 following a brief illness. She was born January 4, 1945 in Elyria and was a graduate of North Ridgeville High School. Donna enjoyed garage sales, reading, sewing, traveling, games, animals, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, but especially enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. Donna was a very loving, caring generous woman with a great sense of humor and she will be missed by all who knew her. She retired from her employment as a business representative for Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) Local 17 in 2010. Prior employment included receptionist at Sugar Lane Tennis Club and clinic administrative assistant at the Elyria Methodist Home. Survivors include her daughters, Kim ( John) Jorgensen, Amy (Bert) Fitzgerald; son, Justin (Tammy) Ramsey; grandchildren, Drew (Ashley) Fitzgerald, Troy Piazza, Collin Fitzgerald, Gianna Ramsey, Kane Ramsey and Braidon Mescan; brothers, James (Linda) Schneider and John Schneider;n half-brothers, Tom ( Roseann) Schneider, Tim (Linda) Schneider, Rick ( Cheryl) Schneider ; sister-in-law, Freda Schneider; and many loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Courtney Ramsey; parents, William and Josephine Schneider (nee Gerhart); uncle Bill Reinders; brothers, Bill Schneider and Bob Schneider; half-brother, Ron Schneider ;sister-in-laws, Mary Anne Schneider and Edith Schneider; cousin, Mary Jean Walters; and step-sister, Judy Ternes. There will be no visitation or services. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
