Donna Mae Boyer (nee: Rhoads) 69, of Elyria was taken home by The Good Lord on Saturday April 13, 2013 following a lengthy illness. She was born October 15, 1943 in Ravenna, Ohio, and grew up in the New London, Ohio area. Donna treasured spending time with her sweetheart and husband; George E., she also enjoyed ceramics, music, and internet cooking websites. Donna was a runner up in the Ohio State pie baking competition. Survivors include her beloved husband of forty nine years; George E., a daughter; Tami Boyer (Spencer Yount) of Santa Cruz, CA., a son; David Boyer of Arlington, TX. Additional survivors include three grandchildren whom she loved very much; Madison, Maeve and Wesley Boyer. a sister; Barbara Johnson (Lamuel) of Prescott, AZ. Donna was preceded in death by a son; Daniel, and her parents; Barton and Ruby (nee: Bolding) Rhoads. All services are private.
