Donald A. Lacko, 84, of Matamoras, Ohio, passed away on April 19, 2023 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 9, 1939 to parents Mike and Anna (nee: Schuster) in Elyria, Ohio.  Donald worked at Moen as product polisher for many years.  Survivors include his sons, Thomas (Deanna) Lacko of Seville, Steve (Sue) Lacko of Lodi; daughter, Vickie (Rob) Peeble of Dublin; step-daughter, Terri (Wayne) Simmerman of Elyria; grandchildren, Alex, Joe, Kelly, Jett, Lindsay, Holly; brothers, Randy (Elaine), Gary (Earlene), Mike Jr. (Cathy); sister, Elizabeth Hicks, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sarah (nee: Frame); his parents; sister, Roseann Brown; brothers-in-law, Ken Brown and Don Hicks; nephew Bobby, and his loving dog, Russell. Graveside Service will be held at 11 AM on April 29, 2023. at River Road Cemetery in LaGrange Township. Pastor John Seabold from Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton will officiate.
