Donald H. "Don" Emery, 84, of Elyria passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Wesleyan Village in Elyria following a lengthy illness. He was born December 7 , 1933 in Amherst. Don worked for the City of Rocky River as a mechanic , and retired from the Rocky River Board of Education. He proudly served his Country in the Air Force, and was a life time member of VFW post # 1079. Donald was a locksmith, plumber , and he enjoyed collecting antique cars. Survivors include his wife of 62 years Lorraine (nee DeCare); daughters Linda Bryant of Cleveland and Cathy Emery of Elyria; sons David of Lorain and Jerry (Sue) of Elyria; numerous grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister Eleanor ; brothers Richard and Robert. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Dorothy (nee Schrroder); daughter Louise; sisters Betty and Wilma; brother William. There will be no visitation or services. Burial Private.
