Donald J. Campbell, Jr., age 43, of Elyria, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 20, 2023 at his home. He was born in Cleveland on April 30, 1980 to parents Donald Sr. and Janet (nee: Carte). He worked as a mover, and enjoyed being with his children, fishing, playing basketball with his daughter, swimming, playing Roblox with his son, Anthony, and dog, Roman. He also enjoyed going to Cedar Point and Kalahari with his family. Survivors include his wife, Melissa (nee: Merk); daughter, Breana Campbell and step-daughter, Kaela Casselman; son, Anthony Campbell and step-son, Jayson Casselman; sister, Penny Browning; brother, Dylon Campbell; his parents, and dog. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 2 PM until the time of service at 4:30 PM at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road (at State RT 57) in Elyria.
