Donnie Ray Buchanan 82, of Sparta, Wisconsin (formerly of Grafton) passed away Sunday April 27, 2025 at Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse, WI.  He was born July 30, 1942 in Clarksburg, WV. Donnie worked as a laborer and retired in 1999. He enjoyed spending time with family, playing video games, camping, ATVing, vintage cars and NASCAR. Survivors include two daughters; Michelle M. Ferguson (Bobby) of Ravenna, Donna R. Wirth (Chris) of Wellington, James E. Buchanan (Lisa) of Sparta, WI., ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Additional survivors include; Francis Buckhannon (Bucky) and Joan of North Ridgeville.  Donald was preceded in death by his wife of forty years; Karen Faye (nee: Ault). John Edward and Mildred May (nee: Furbee) Buckhannon. A grandson (Bobby Ferguson) and four brothers and two sisters. The family will receive friends 4-7 PM Friday May 2, 2025 at The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Elyria, OH (440)322-4626 where funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday May 3, 2025.  Reverend Chuck Behrens will officiate. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
