Dominic A. "Tony" Ferritto, 84, of Grafton Township passed away Wednesday August 8, 2018 at the Mercy New Life Hospice Residential Center in Lorain. He was born October 25, 1933 in Grafton and was a lifelong Grafton Township resident. Tony worked at Lakeside Supply Company in Cleveland as a truck driver for 40 years, retiring in 1997. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society of the church and also the Knights of Columbus Council 8369. He proudly served as a Grafton Township Trustee for 32 years and enjoyed playing cards. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Ann (nee-Frate); daughters, Antonette "Toni" Ferritto, Marie Schultz, Sue Ferritto and Patty Ferritto; sons, Anthony Ferritto and Joseph Ferritto; 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dominco and Quintilia Ferritto and a sister, Florence Jacobucci. The family will receive friends Friday 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday August 11, 2018 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 708 Erie St., Grafton. (please meet at church). The Rev. Fr. John P. Seabold, pastor, will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Grafton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Mercy New Life Hospice 3500 Kolbe Rd. Lorain, 44053.
