Obituary

Dolores C. Kaminski, (nee- Klesta), 81, of Elyria. On May 1, 2016 our precious mother Dolly was called home. Her courageous battle has ended, she did not lose. Rather, she has left the weariness of battle and entered the Kingdom of God. She slipped the surly bonds of this earth, and has touched his face. We will miss this incredible woman who was a daughter, mom, grandma, sister, aunt friend, and prayer champion. Jesus lifted her up today and said "Dolly", it is finished, O my faithful child". He wrapped His loving arms around her and took her to paradise. Dolly was born in Grafton on October 29, 1934 to Stanley and Salome Klesta. On July 27, 1957 she married her beloved jack Kaminski and they made their home in Elyria where they raised their four children. Dolly was a woman of deep faith, a prayer champion for many, and a George Strait fan. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, spending time with her family and friends, playing cards, word-search puzzles, and family outings, especially Sunday rides and trips to Kelly's Island. She will be remembered for her kind nature, constant smile, and those blue eyes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Salome, sister, Marian Stawicki, brothers, Richard, Benedict, Stanley and Jimmy Klesta. Her beloved husband Jack preceded her in death in 1994. Survivors include her loving children, Brenda (Ralph) Troxtell, Stephanie Butler, Susan (Dave) Croft and John (Melana) Kaminski, loving grandson, John "Jay" Butler and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Closing prayers will be Friday May 6, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Agnes Catholic Church 611 Lake Ave., Elyria. The Rev. Fr. Albert Veigas will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria. Dolly's family would like to thank the loving care givers and staff of the Wesleyan Village, especially the 2nd floor staff and residents, Fr. Albert Veigas and our parish family of St. Agnes Church., the staff at UH Elyria Medical Center, especially Vicky, Amy, Linda, Laurie, Robin, Lee, Dr. Fawzy and Dr. Ram. Along with a very special and heartfelt thank you to Dolly's nephew and SICU Tech, Dan Klesta- all her guardian angels. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Agnes Church.
