Dolores M. Cole (nee: Kaiser) 90, of Elyria passed away on Monday February 3, 2020 at O'Neill Health Care Campus in North Ridgeville. She was born January 23, 1930 in Elyria where she was a lifelong resident. She was a wonderful homemaker, and was named Chronicle Telegram's Mother of The Year during the 1970's. Dolores was a humble and devout active member of St. Agnes Catholic Church; attending daily mass for many years, and had served on The Altar and Rosary Society as President and Vice President. She volunteered for many church functions, and always loaned a helping hand to those in need. Dolores was known for her infectious smile and kind demeanor by all who knew her. Survivors include her three sons; Timothy Cole, Jeffrey Cole both of Elyria, and Mark Cole of Cleveland. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband of sixty one years; Gerald "Jerry" Cole, and her parents; Joseph and Anna (nee: Fitch) Kaiser. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday February 8, 2020 at St. Agnes Church 611 Lake Ave. Elyria where a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM immediately following visitation. The Reverend Father Albert Veigas, Pastor will be the Celebrant. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Elyria. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in Dolores' memory be sent to St. Agnes Table of Plenty Food Pantry 611 Lake Ave. Elyria, OH 44035.
