Dolores " Dee" Ann Brown (nee Brown ), 74, of Elyria, passed away peacefully after a brief illness at home with her family by her side. She was born September 25 , 1939 in Lynn, Massachusetts. Dolores was a 1957 graduate of St. Mary's High School and a 1960 graduate of Catherine Laboure' School of Nursing. She worked for Intrepid Health Care and was a registere nurse for 53 years. Dolores belonged to the American Legion, and VFW. Dee was a very intellectual individual and always had a story to tell. Her greatest "Joys in Life " where her grandchildren , cooking , and gardening. She is going to be deeply missed by family and friends. Survivors include husband of 39 years Harrold "Bud " Brown, daughters Cathy (Rob ) Givens of Elyria , Oh., Chris Temple of Rutland, Vt., Caren Meagher of Elyria , Oh, Colleen (Joe ) Lawell of Plainfield, Ill. son Timothy (Ranesha ) Brown of Elyria, Oh. 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by his parents Irving and Mary Brown ( nee Hogan ) and her 2 brothers Irving and Richard. Celebration of her life will be at a later date. Burial Private.
