Doina V. Craciun (nee Muresan), passed away at home in Elyria on February 13, 2018, following a brief illness. Beloved wife of Emil; cherished mother of Gene (Jill); devoted grandmother to Jack and Ty; dearest sister to Elena (Ion); loving aunt to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vasile and Emma, and her brother, Vasile. Born in Timisoara, Romania, she emigrated to the U.S. in 1977. She worked as an instrumentation engineer in Miami,FL. And Greensburg,PA, before moving to Maryland. After retirement, she moved to Elyria to be closer to family, and found a passion for arts and crafts. She was very involved with volunteering and teaching at Elyria Arts Council Community Art Center and Gallery. Private services will be held for the family.
