Diane R. Blair, (nee-Caldwell), 53, of Elyria passed away Wednesday August 1, 2018 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a long illness. She was born May 22, 1965 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Diane was formerly employed as an aquatic instructor at the Elyria Y.M.C.A, a 1983 Keystone High School graduate and enjoyed spending time with her family and canine companions. Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Darrin; daughters, Brittany Meadows and Nicole Blair; 2 grandchildren; brother, David Caldwell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Ernestine Caldwell. A Celebration of Diane's Life will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday August 11, 2018 at the family's home at 42228 Hilltop Dr. Elyria. Private inurnment will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Friendship Animal Protective League 8303 North Murray Ridge Rd.
