Diana M. Posey (nee Spicer), 72 of Elyria passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange following a lengthy illness. She was born August 24, 1946 and was a 1964 graduate of Elyria High School. She worked for Bendix , Local 425 and H.& R. Block as a secretary and tax preparer until retirement in 2000. Diana enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her great nieces and great nephews. Survivors include her husband William B. "Bernie" Posey; brothers - in-law and sisters-in-laws Richard Walker Sr. , David Bullock, Roger (Sharon) Posey, Norma Fisher, Barb (Ted) Williams; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Cliff and Ruth Spicer (nee Woelfer); sisters Ellen Walker, Roberta Bullock, April Spicer. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626.
