Diana J. Hupchick, (nee-Boreski), 66, of Elyria passed away Saturday February 15, 2014 at the Lifecare Center of Elyria following a battle with Lymphoma. She was born September 5, 1947 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Diana worked as a Registered Nurse at EMH Regional Medical Center for 35 years, retiring in 2004. She was a 1965 Elyria Catholic High School graduate, a 1968 graduate of the former M.B. Johnson School of Nursing, a member of the Elyria United Polish Club Ladies Auxiliary, and enjoyed spending time with her family, golfing, bowling and traveling. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, William "Bill" Hupchick; daughter, Michelle (Jim) Bizorik of Elyria; Joe Hupchick of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Amanda, Kyle and Alisha; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Alexis and Aiden; sisters, Janice (Mike) Serfozo of Amherst Township and Terri (Tim) Bair of Martinez, GA. She was preceded in death by a grandson, James Bizorik Jr. and her parents, Walter "Sport" and Dorothy "Dot" (nee-Pitts) Boreski. All services will be private.
