Denver Carlos Cottrell, age 85, peacefully lost his battle with covid at home in Grafton, Ohio surrounded by his family on October 6, 2021. He was born in Ivydale, WV. On January 16, 1936. Denver Carlos was a retired machine repairman from General Motors, an avid hunter and a renowned tinkerer (Dad can fix it). He was a member and former deacon at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church. Denver Carlos married (and is survived by) his teenage love Clarice (nee- Murphy) and they were married for 68 years at the time of his death. He is also survived by his daughters, Vicky Roche and Sheri (Steve) Hawkins, by his sons, Kevin and Keith (Jennifer), grandchildren, Danny Roche, Courtney Hawkins, Alyssa Hawkins, David Cottrell , Tiffany Duncan- Gray and several great-grandchildren. Denver Carlos Cottrell was preceded in death by his son, Richard. There will be a small graveside service at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday October 9, 2021 (today) at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township.
