Dennis W. Wells, 58, of Elyria passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He was born in Elyria and was a graduate of Elyria High School. Dennis loved being by the lake, he was always happy and greeted everyone with a smile, loved his family especially his grandchildren and enjoyed bowling and was Junior Bowler of the year. Survivors include his wife Leslie (nee Whyel); daughter Brittany; sons Dennis (Erin), Paul (Alysa Kuzak), Joseph Eddington and William; grandchildren Jordan and James; sisters Janet (Edward) Rundle, Diane (Jerry) Schatz, Debbie Wells. He was preceded in death by his parents Dean Wells and Nellie Castle ; sister Barbara Barnett; brother Dean. Family will receive friends 5-8 PM Thursday, October 24, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Elyrua 11400 LaGrange Rd. Elyria, Ohio 44035, where a Celebration of Dennis's life will be held 11 AM Friday, October 25, 2019. Pastor Patrick Odle will officiate. Burial Private.
