Dennis Michael Schubert 75, of Elyria passed away peacefully at Life Care Center of Elyria, Friday, December 20, 2024, following a brief illness. Dennis was born June 18, 1949, in Elyria. Dennis enjoyed riding motorcycles, reading, spending time with his family, competition shooting, playing solitaire and his dog Bandit.  Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda (Joe) Mangello (nee: Schubert) of Mantua; a son, Sean Schubert of Elyria; three grandchildren, Chris Schubert, Kara Keim, and Paige Keim; two sisters, Susan Lantz (nee: Schubert) of Flagstaff Az., and Margie Schubert of Elyria, one uncle and several cousins. Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Jo Schubert (Houts) of 53 years; parents, Lawrence Schubert and Margaret (nee: Hornyak) Schubert; one brother, Tommy Schubert, who had passed in August 2024, and a brother-in-law, Richard Lantz.
