Dennis M. Munoz, a.k.a, Denny Michaels (Julio), 70, of Grafton passed away Wednesday September 27, 2017 at the Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake following a long illness. He was born June 15, 1947 in Lorain and was a Grafton resident for most of his life. Denny was a well known area musician/entertainer for 50 years, and was honored to have sung the National Anthem on four occasions of the Cleveland Indians Baseball games. He enjoyed golfing, walking, swimming and was an avid Cleveland Indians Baseball fan. Survivors include his wife Susan (nee-Liwosz); step-daughter, Rachel Novak; step-sons, Raymond Novak Jr. and Michael Novak; grandchildren, A.J. and Tristan; brothers, Dean (Sue) Williams, Mark Munoz and Steve (Brenda) Munoz. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda, mother, Mary Louise Williams and father, Trinidad Munoz. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday October 22, 2017 at the V.F.W. Post 1079, 500 South Abbe Rd., Elyria. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve 300 East 185th St. Cleveland, OH. 44119. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Specialists 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria.
