Dennis R. Manns, 84, of Elyria passed away Monday November 6, 2023 at the Cleveland Clinic Avon Campus following a short illness. He was born July 9, 1939 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Dennis retired from the North Ridgeville City Schools where he taught government studies for 30 years. He was a member of the Elyria First United Methodist Church and the Elyria Elks Lodge #465. Survivors include 1 niece, 1 nephew and 1 great-niece. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Thelma Manns and sisters, Gloria Aldrich and Marlene Thompson. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 11, 2023 at LaPorte Cemetery, Butternut Ridge Rd., Carlisle Twp.. The Rev. Cynthia Thompson will be the Celebrant.
