Dennis P. Hale Sr. 60, of Elyria passed away Sunday April 21, 2013 at his home following a long illness. He had served in the U.S. Army and enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and hunting. Survivors include his mother; Margaret G. Diamond (nee: Meese) of Elyria, three daughters; Batina Hale Lesco of Elyria, Brenda Hale of Lorain, Heather James of Iowa, two sons; Dennis Jr. (Jamie) of Iowa, William of Elyria, additional survivors include twelve grandchildren four great grandchildren, two sisters; Janice Hofmann (John), Nancy Resseger (Joe) both of Illinois, two brothers; James (Betty) of Elyria, Andrew (Lucinda) of Spencer, three nephews; Thomas (Julie), John (Robin), Robert (Robin). Dennis was preceded in death by his father; Thomas Hale, two brothers, and two sisters.
