Dennis P. Del Campo, 66, of Wellington passed away Monday, December 9, 2019 at Mercy Allen Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born June 20, 1953 in Chicago, IL. Dennis held key positions, product line management- Reliable Electric, VP of Mergers and Acquisitions- Marconi Communications and VP of Global Services- Emerson Network Power. Dennis had close ties with service personnel around the globe (Luka Casper - Croatia, Edgar Carazales - MX, Jorge Mejia-MX , Dag Hasler- EMEA, Anders Ericsson- EMEA, Andreas Barrero- South America, Steven Liang - China, Paul Churchall- Australia, Simon Sacharin- Canada, Frank Bibens - Global Service, Dean Garrett- AT&T, and Brian Trosper- Verizon .He enjoyed golfing, going to Florida, and spending time with family. Dennis was very dedicated to his family, friends and business and always put others before himself. He was referred to as a "true" businessman, respected by all who knew him, his leaders, peers and employees. Dennis was a mentor to his employees and well respected in his field. He was the first to be called upon to handle large contracts (Ameritec Pip, US West, AT&T, Oil Rigs in Mexico. Dennis made sure he always put his family first and made sure his employees did the same. He was effectively able to communicate from an executive level down to individual contributors, a great presenter and positively affected people's lives. He enjoyed holding staff meetings at his property, referring it to it as the Emerson Country Club.Survivors include his wife of 21 years Susan (nee Handley); son Steven of Wellington; cousins Allan and David Pindara, Martha Del Campo; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Scipio and Regina Del Campo (nee Kopyszka); brother Scipio Steven. Family will receive friends 1-5 PM Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
