Dennis H. Cluley, 77, of Elyria passed away Friday September 27, 2024 at his home. He was born January 20, 1947 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident.

Dennis was a Police Officer with the Elyria Police Department for 25 ½ years, retiring in 1996, and was a United States Army veteran. Following retirement he worked as a Bailiff with the Elyria Municipal Court.

Survivors include his longtime companion, Rhonda Strawderman; daughter, Melissa (David) Rosso; grandchildren, Jackie Flint and Erika Flint; son-in-law, Eric Flint; brother, Greg (Rita) Cluley; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his former wife Lynda Herwig, daughter, Shauna Flint, sisters, Kathy Crigger and Jodi Boos and a brother, Charles Cluley.

The family would like to extend a special Thank-you to Chuck, Merna and Chase Cluley.

All services and burial will be private.
