Denise L. Devereaux, 66, of Oberlin passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was born December 30, 1952 in Lodi, OH., and was a 1971 graduate of Midview High School. Denise worked for Allstate Insurance Co. in customer support and was a Ballroom Dance Instructor. Survivors include her father, Ralph Devereaux, sister, Diane Devereaux, brother, Darrell (Patty) Devereaux, and sister-in-law, Lynn Devereaux. Additional survivors include her beloved nieces and nephews, Jenny (Tim) MacDonald, Beau Devereaux, Erica Dennis, Nisha (Tom) Festing, Leanne (Don) Sanders, Matt Devereaux, and Brooke (John) Nisky as well as many cherished great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia Ann Smith and brother, David Devereaux. Family will receive friends for a Celebration of Denise's life from 1 PM until time of Service at 2 PM Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
