Denis John Kirkbride Sr.65 of New Boston, Ohio, formerly of Elyria passed away Tuesday September 20,2016 at his residence. He was born May 24, 1951 in Elyria and was a graduate of Elyria Catholic High School. Denis worked for Kroger's as a manager. Survivors include his wife Beverly (nee Slark) , daughter Kelly (Michael) Palmer of Chillicothe , sons Shawn (Susan) Kirkbride of Navarre, Fla. , Denis "DJ" (Jennifer) Kirkbride of Los Angeles, Ca., Patrick Kirkbride (Clint Zehner) of Seattle, Wa. , step-sons Aaron (Sherri) Elliott , Chad Elliott both of New Boston , grandchildren Emma and Jaxon Palmer , step-grandchildren Sam , Michael , Dawson , and Gabe Elliott , sisters Mary Clare (Mark) Fildes of Poland, Oh. , Kathleen "Kit" Kirkbride of Elyria , brothers Donald of Vermilion , Timothy (Debra) of Duluth, Ga. , Uncle and great uncle to many,former wives Debra (Greg) Chattin , Kimberly (Karl) Krause. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Marian (nee Gurney) , sister M. Jane , step-son Jeremy. All services and Burial were private.
