DeLaurice A. "Dee" Carle, (nee-Wojtowich), 75, of Elyria passed away Sunday August 19, 2012 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain following a brief illness. She was born March 6, 1937 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Dee worked as a registered nurse for 50 years, retiring from Mercy Regional Medical Center in 2011. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Elyria, a 1955 Elyria Catholic High School graduate, a member of the Oberlin Golf Club and was a recipient of the American Cancer Society Nurse Of Hope Award. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Richard "Jim" Carle; daughter, Jeanine Gamble of Zanesville; son Rich Carle of Medina; 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Agnes (nee-Shapko) Wojtowich. The family will receive friends Thursday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. 322-4626. Closing prayers will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Agnes Church 611 Lake Ave, Elyria. The Rev. Charles J.
