Deborah C. Lawson, (nee-Sword), 54, of Lorain passed away Wednesday May 4, 2016 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center in Lorain following a long illness. She was born December 13, 1961 in Frankfort, Germany and was an Elyria area resident for most of her life. Deborah was a 1980 Elyria High School graduate and enjoyed working puzzles and knitting. Survivors include her daughter, Shaunta' (Jason) Dennis of Elyria; brother, James (Amanda) Sword of Elyria and a niece, Alannah Sword.
