David Woost Sr., 62 years of age, passed away peacefully alongside his sons and daughter (Justin, David Jr., James, Christopher, Jordan and Donna) on January 2, 2023 at his home. He now joins his loving wife (Mary) and his dear son (Joshua). Survived by his 7 loving grandchildren and his two brothers and his two sisters (Clifford, Scott, Tina, Karen). Born in Brooklyn, New York on August 30 ^th 1960 then moving to Ohio in his early teens. (Where he spent most of his life). His life was a beautiful inspiration. He had many passions in his life: Being a top notch crane operator, a career he loved dearly. He loved woodworking and building things with his hands in his shop. He also loved racing and driving all of the beautiful cars he's had in his years. He loved his cars but loved his family most of all. Family was everything to him, especially being married to his wife. Dave Woost was the definition of caring. Always helping someone in their time of need. He surely was someone who loved being there for people when they needed it most. He was kind, humble and all around amazing. A person you wanted to have in your life. He'll be remembered for many wonderful things. Certainly someone to look up to in this world. A true Father, Friend, Brother and Husband. The family will receive friends on Saturday January 21, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of a brief service at 1:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
