David B. Paxton, 80, of Elyria passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 unexpectedly at his residence. He was born April 27, 1937 in Jackhorn,KY. David proudly served his Country in the Army and was a member of American Legion in Elyria. He enjoyed flower gardening and animals. David was an accountant working for American Standard for 27 years and then with refrigeration sales co. Survivors include his wife of 57 years Twila (nee Talbott); daughter Elizabeth DeVore of Elyria; son Brad (Amanda) of Elyria; grandchildren Brittany Paxton, Allison DeVore, Hailey DeVore, Meghan DeVore, and Morgan Baatz ; sister Karen (Dewey) Leadingham of Wellington. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Mildred Paxton (nee Land).
