David Ray Kimble, 71, of Elyria took his heavenly flight home on January 14, 2019 surrounded by his family at Mercy New Life Hospice Residential Center in Lorain following a brief illness. He was born January 11, 1948 in Webster Springs, WV. And made Ohio his home since 1953. David was a North Ridgeville High School graduate, attended the LaGrange Independent Freewill Baptist Church, retired from the Ford Motor Company in Lorain, was a member of the U.A.W. #425, was a lifetime member of the N.R.A. and enjoyed hunting, fishing, western movies, gospel and bluegrass music and was an avid sports fan. Survivors include his daughter, Tina Marie (Larry) Smith; grandchildren, Cory and Jeremy; sisters, Marie (Louis) Long and Elizabeth (Ron) Murphy; brothers, Luther, Alfred (Nancy), and Billy Joe Sr. (Sandra) Kimble; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters, Barbara Markel and Nancy Melhinch and brothers, Jimmy, Dean and George Kimble. The family will receive friends Friday January 18, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. at the LaGrange Independent Freewill Baptist Church 39642 State Rt. 303, LaGrange. Pastor and David's cousin John Kimble will Officiate. Burial will be at North Ridgeville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the church.
